Two new flags on the map: Lecka is now available in China and Canada.
When we started making gels from Vietnamese fruit, honey and farm ingredients back in 2020, we didn't know how far real food fuel would travel. Today our gels, bars and Ultra Gels are carried by runners in more than 15 markets. China and Canada are two very different places, and we're taking two very different approaches. Here's what that looks like.
China: starting on the trails
China's trail running scene is exploding, and that's exactly where we're starting. In 2026, Lecka is on the start line at 36 trail events across the country, together with our partner in Guangzhou.
We're not trying to be everywhere at once. We're going deep into one community: ultra trail runners. These are the athletes who spend 10, 20, 30 hours out on the mountain, and who feel every gram of what they put in their stomach.
Elites first
Our first partners in China are elite trail runners who are switching to real food fueling. Many of them are coached by international athletes, and they're learning what the best ultra runners in the world already know: what you eat over hundreds of training hours matters, not just on race day. Fuel your body with real ingredients, and it pays you back over a long career.
When these runners tell their training partners what's in their vest, the community listens. That's how we want to grow in China: community first, one trail race at a time.
A different kind of gel
To our knowledge, Lecka is the first and only real food gel brand in China. Most gels on the market are cheap, maltodextrin-based products built to hit a price point. We went the other way. No maltodextrin, just ingredients you'd recognize from a kitchen: fruit, honey, sea salt and other farm-grown foods from Vietnam.
It's a premium product, and we're proud to position it that way.

Canadian runners, you can now order Lecka online through our partner Sea2Sky Nutrition.
Canada already knows good gels. Many of the local favorites are built on honey and maple syrup, and they're great. Lecka brings something new to the shelf: real food from Vietnam, with tropical flavors you won't find anywhere else. Think passion fruit, kumquat honey, lime ginger and banana, made with fruit grown by Vietnamese farmers.
