The Lecka story began in the fall of 2019 when our German founder, Markus—a successful trail runner himself—moved to the highlands of Vietnam to train for his ultra marathons.
It quickly became clear to him that the extremely fresh and natural ingredients from the local area could be harnessed for endurance sports nutrition.
After two years of testing and development alongside the local running community, the first Lecka products hit the market in 2022.

From the beginning, our vision was clear: to create natural, delicious sports nutrition with a transparent, local, and direct supply chain in Southeast Asia. Our products are crafted where the ingredients are harvested—ensuring top quality, exceptional taste, and fair conditions for everyone involved.
Initially, we operated our own factory in northern Vietnam; today, we work with dedicated partners in central and southern Vietnam. This close-knit collaboration means that ingredients like the bananas and passion fruits in our energy gels go from farm to finished product in less than 18 hours.
