There’s no maltodextrin, artificial sweeteners, or preservatives, which are often the cause of digestive issues during long runs or races. Our Coffee Cacao gel contains 90mg of caffeine, sourced naturally from Vietnamese robusta coffee, raw cacao and caffeine powder. That’s about the same as a strong cup of coffee — ideal for giving you a mental and physical boost during endurance activities. Whether you use it early in a race to get going, or during the final push for focus and energy, this gel is a great alternative to synthetic caffeine shots.

We recommend consuming one Lecka Energy Gel every 30 to 45 minutes during intense or long-duration efforts like running, cycling, hiking, or team sports. Everyone’s energy needs are different, but a consistent intake of carbohydrates helps keep your energy levels stable and prevent the dreaded bonk. For optimal absorption, it's best to drink a few sips of water with each gel — this also helps your body digest the carbs faster and maintain hydration.

No refrigeration needed. Our gels are shelf-stable for up to 12 months and designed to withstand travel, trail running, and heat. We do recommend storing them in a cool, dry place, especially if you're heading out into high temperatures — just to keep the texture smooth and pleasant. They won't melt or get sticky like some bars, making them a great companion for tropical adventures.

Some of our gels are fully vegan, while others use honey as a natural ingredient. All Lecka gels are made without soy, refined sugar, synthetic additives, or artificial/natural flavors. That means no dairy, no eggs, and no gluten-containing grains — just clean, simple ingredients you can trust to fuel your run naturally.

While our gels are not certified organic, they are made with the same care and quality you’d expect from organic products — and often go beyond in terms of freshness, traceability, and sustainability.

We work directly with smallholder farmers in Vietnam, sourcing fruits and ingredients from trusted local partners who use natural, regenerative farming practices. Many of these farms are too small to afford official organic certification, which can be prohibitively expensive and time-consuming for independent growers. Instead of going through a formal label process, we invest in personal relationships, transparency, and consistent quality control.

So while we can’t legally call our products “organic,” you can trust that each ingredient is grown and harvested with care — and that your fuel comes straight from farms we know and support. We believe this model not only leads to better-tasting, cleaner nutrition, but also helps uplift the rural communities we work with.
