The Origin

Founded by Trail Runners in Southeast Asia

In 2019, Markus, a German trail runner, moved to the Vietnamese highlands to train for ultra-marathons. Deep into the jungle trails, tired of choking down sticky, artificial energy gels, he looked around at the fresh, local ingredients of the region and realized they were a much better fuel source than anything in his running pack.

That spark led to the creation of Lecka. Markus wanted to build an endurance nutrition brand that powered performance naturally, but it had to be done the right way. That meant high-quality products that respected the athletes, supported local farmers, and protected the environment.

What followed was two years of hard work, trial, and error. Markus spent his time working directly with Vietnamese farmers on sustainable sourcing and dialing in recipes in a makeshift kitchen. Every batch was tested on early morning trail runs by the local running community until the balance of nutrition and flavor was exactly right.

Lecka officially launched in 2022.

What Sets Us Apart

World's First Farm to Fuel

From day one, we wanted to do more than just sell another energy gel. The goal was to build a clean, direct supply chain right here in Southeast Asia, keeping a straight line between the athletes and the farms.

To make that happen, we produce everything right where the ingredients are grown. It means better quality, better taste, and fair treatment for the people doing the hard work. We actually started out running our own factory in Northern Vietnam to learn the ropes from scratch. Today, we work with trusted partners in Central and Southern Vietnam who share our values. They aren’t just third-party suppliers to us; they’re true collaborators.

Because we operate so close to the source, ingredients like our bananas and passion fruit go from the tree to the finished packaging in under 18 hours. We’ve actually timed it. That speed is everything because it keeps the flavor fresh and the nutrients intact without needing a bunch of heavy processing or artificial junk.

In the end, we get to give athletes around the world a taste of real Vietnamese ingredients, sourced the right way.
